Q: What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
A: As a little girl my dad when he was an around would bring me to his friends at home recording studio around 5 and 6 years old and I would be there each time playing in the studio touching the walls where the sound proof laid and microphone stand was placed , my dad placed my sister ok a track and I was wanting to get on the track to, but it never happened then as I grew older I was discovered from a friend in middle school who had a crush on me and he chose me to do a recording voice verse for him. I did it and a few year later my brother came to me and asked me to freestyle with him I got shy and said no, but when I left him I would go home and begin doing research on how to rap and how to write and I practiced and I wrote a first verse in 2018 and I let him hear it, he then told me you are good you need to start rapping then I started to purchase recording time at a local studio in East nashville and begin going every few months and I had everyone helping me rooting for me telling me what I need to work on and what I need to do far as working with producers.
Q: Tell us about your new music (Song/EP/Mixtape/Album)? And what’s the story behind it?
A: I’ve dropped 4 new single pussy sing, London remain, calling all souls and Kalani. In the push sing single I made the music for club goers because it is a relatable song. People can dance to and get hype. I made Londonremain about someone I was dealing with at the time that influenced the song and I was helping him out in his situation, but he then turned on me so we no longer speak any further. I express my desires and my thoughts in that song to show me creativity. Calling all souls is a song about me being a lover and needing someone who is down for me as sometime I get lonely and just need a significant other to be by my side and I explain a situation I experienced from trauma that made me jump off the porch to being guarded. And a struggle time period I had before in my life that I had to overcome. Kalani single is a single regarding myself on how I am as person so that you can get to know me as a person and artist. I make you feel like you’re right beside me hanging out with Genuine persona.
