The Black Keys/ Arctic Monkeys Inspired New Rock Band

Sonic Maven, a rising band hailing from Colorado Springs, is thrilled to announce the release of their debut single, “Look at Me Now,” available on all streaming platforms starting May 19th. With their unique blend of Indie Blues and Garage Rock influences, Sonic Maven is set to captivate audiences with their powerful sound and heartfelt lyrics.

At the core of Sonic Maven’s music lies a deeply personal and empowering message. Inspired by their own experiences of feeling underestimated, unappreciated, and rejected, the band seeks to uplift all the underdogs and misfits in society. Their debut single, “Look at Me Now,” serves as an anthem for those who strive to overcome obstacles, defy societal expectations, and emerge triumphant against all odds.

The driving force behind Sonic Maven’s music is the singer/ lead guitarist/ songwriter (Bristan Keller), who found solace and inspiration through playing and writing music at a young age. Guided by a mentor who became like a father figure, the artist’s upbringing and love for old Blues rock strongly influence Sonic Maven’s sound and songwriting approach. While honoring the memory of his late mentor, a Vietnam veteran and old-school blues rocker, played a crucial role in shaping the band’s sound and songwriting style. Bristan Keller inherited his mentor’s guitar after his passing in 2022, and it was one of three used in recording their debut single. Sonic Maven channels his spirit into their music, creating a unique blend of heartfelt emotion and raw energy.

Sonic Maven’s music speaks to the deep-rooted emotions that often are inadequately verbally expressed. Their sound transcends boundaries, pushing the limits of Indie Blues and Garage Rock to create a captivating experience. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed bands like The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes, and Royal Blood, Sonic Maven’s music is both familiar and refreshingly original, with a distinctive tone that quickly catches the listener’s ear.

“Look at Me Now” showcases Sonic Maven’s ability to weave compelling melodies and thought-provoking lyrics into a tapestry of sound that resonates deeply with listeners. As the song starts out slower, it undeniably picks up and demands listeners’ attention. It serves as a rallying cry for dreamers and visionaries, urging them to persevere and embrace their uniqueness. Sonic Maven hopes to inspire individuals to rise above their current situation, chase their dreams relentlessly, and one day proudly proclaim, “Look at Me Now.”
